Preposition

A preposition is a word used to link nouns, pronouns, or phrases to other words within a sentence. They act to connect the people, objects, time, and locations of a sentence.  

Prepositions are usually short words, and they are normally placed directly in front of nouns. In some cases, you’ll find prepositions in front of gerund verbs.

INTRODUCTION A word or phrase that modifies or qualifies an adjective, verb, or other adverb or a word group, expressing a relation of place, time, circumstance, manner, cause, degree, etc. (e.g.,  gently ,  quite ,  then ,  there  ).                              Adverb of Manner -         How?                              Adverb of Place -             Where?                              Adverb of Time -              When?                              Adverb of Frequency  -   How Often?                              Adverb of Cause -           Why?                              Adverb of Degree -          How much/many?
